General Secretary

With a Master of Business Administration and Master of International Operations Management at Macquarie University, Australia, Mai Wang Li made important contribution in establishing the Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society (TBIS) and was appointed as the Secretarial General, and the Journal of Fibre Bioengineering and Informatics as the operational editor. She was the key organizer of 14 world leading international academic symposiums, and coordinated the publication of “Textile Bioengineering and Informatics International Conference Proceedings” with 2118 published academic papers indexed in the Core-collection database in the Web of Science. Through TBIS society, Mai Wang Li has promoted international academic cooperation and university-enterprise collaborations. She also played a vital role in the founding and establishment of the International Digital Health and Intelligent Material Innovation Alliance (IDHIMIA), as well as the Fashion Big Data foundation (FBDf). Working with various organizations through TBIS, Mai Wang Li has accelerated technology transformation in areas of biomaterials, bio-tissue scaffold materials, textile medical devices, graphene and two dimensional nano-functional nanofibers, and intelligent textile electronics, textile material biological function testing and equipment, clothing biological functional design, intelligent textile wearable system, textile and clothing industry big data technology platform, textile carbon footprint digital tracing.
