Digital Clothing’s garment digitization, certification and consultation services was developed by leading research teams from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and University of Manchester spanning 30 years since 1982. In the Horizon 2020 Fashion Big Data Business Model project, Digital Clothing has contributed to develop an interactive cloud computational design system with a garment and material functional FBD B2B platform and integrated sensory and thermal comfort FBD B2B2C interface. The digitization data services developed in the project have been validated by the business partners in the project consortium, evaluated by the EU commission as novel and innovative. The research team has obtained IP assignments of their innovations on advanced e-fibers, e-textile biosensors and wearable technologies and digital technologies from the relevant parties with authorization approval for carrying out independent self-commercialization activities with Digital Clothing Limited.
